Alaska
The diversity of Alaska’s dramatic landscapes is astounding. From the pristine ice caves, to the majestic glaciers that wrap around towering mountains- Alaska’s beauty speaks for itself. These images were captured in some of the most remote and hostile parts of Alaska, of which are only accessible via helicopter.

Alaska has been on my bucket list as a landscape photographer for as long I can remember. Of course, being such a remote part of the world- it’s also not a destination that is easy to explore on your own. When a spot came up for one of Marc Adamus’ Alaskan expeditions, I jumped at the chance.
This photography trip took place in 2018 and included helicopter trips to many parts of remote Alaska. The scenery is something that can’t quite be put into words.
The most striking part of Alaska were the ice caves. Unlike those seen in previous trips to Iceland which are usually overrun with tourists, these were untouched and some of the most beautiful, pristine caves I have seen. Of course, the glaciers that wrap around the towering mountains are an unforgettable sight, and to photograph. Being in such a northern and remote part of the world, we were also treated to some intense auroras.
The breath of imagery that was captured during this relatively short period of time in Alaska was truly remarkable. A place I would certainly go back to, given the chance.
